Crocodiles of the World
14th May 2019
Year 1 had SUCH a fabulous time at Crocodiles of the World.
We had a fantastic guided tour from Colin Stevenson and learnt so much about so many different animals. Rosie managed to make the kookaburras laugh by telling them jokes, Aiden discovered that the warmer the weather the higher crocodiles can jump out of the water to catch their dinner, and Jacob discovered that stroking a python was not as slimy or scary as he imagined.
We even bumped into Mkondo the tortoise from our class story: ‘Awongalema’. At 78 years old we were told he was about middle-aged - amazing!
We had a super day in the sunshine. Check out our great snaps below.
