All the staff care deeply for the children at our school and want to support them in every way we can. Class teachers and Teaching Assistants offer pastoral support and nurture as required and we have a Nurture Lead (Mrs Cooper) and a Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator (Miss Doughton). This year we opened The Snug, a beautiful, warm and welcoming sanctuary for children who need a quiet moment or a little TLC. Nurture and care are at the very core of our school’s ethos, knowing that happy children are ready to learn.

“We have been parents at The Batt School for 10 years, both our children have thrived in the school community and treated as individuals for their learning needs to ensure progress. The Batt always offers new opportunities to build children’s confidence and skills. All staff are professional and caring to go the extra mile. It’s a special place and provides strong foundations for the start of any child’s learning journey, along with in bedding values to take into adult life.”
