Our Teacher - Mr Heffernan

I am pleased to be working within The Batt St Mary's team. I have been working in schools for a number of years in various settings in both the SEN sector and mainstream schools. Upon completing my degree (BA Hons) in Sports Coaching and Development, my passion for coaching and teaching led me to a career in education both here and in Australia. Once I completed my PGCE at Oxford Brookes University I was lucky enough to complete one of my placements here at The Batt.

I love helping the children develop a real love for learning and try to create a safe environment where they can express themselves and increase in confidence throughout the year. 

Out of school, I enjoy keeping fit by running and playing sport. I also really love listening to music and have fully embraced the vinyl revival - I ‘m always looking to expand my record collection!
