Our Teacher - Miss Lambe

Having grown up in Witney, I studied BA (Hons) Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins (CSM), where I enjoyed working with inspirational tutors and students from all over the world and found my love of learning through making. Following graduation, I worked in disability support at The University of the Arts London and as an art department assistant for film and television. I then began work at CSM to support students working on collaborative industry projects with brands in the luxury and technology sector. I enjoyed supporting university students so much that I decided to train as a teacher and since qualifying, I have taught in key stages 1 and 2 as well as in special schools in Melbourne, Australia.  

I enjoy teaching as no two days are the same and there is always a new challenge! In the classroom, I focus on creating a calm environment where children's curiosity is encouraged and celebrated. I am passionate about learning through making and building children's cultural capital through trips, experiences and technology. 

When I'm not teaching I enjoy going to see live indie music, gardening, spending time exploring the countryside and working on creative projects.
